Clusters of trulli on the ground loom serene and pure, spotless and veined by narrow streets. They cut through the trulli grotesque and incredible architecture.
The only colour is white everywhere - cold and dim, with some shade of pale blue – and some parts of dark black.
Here and there however a cut opens out to shine serene emerald greens and oranges in a garden […], in the unbroken tissue of this architecture built by a obsessed and rigorous fantasy.
And the sky...it's hard to explain the purity of the sky...”
